April is here, and with it comes a welcome pause as we head into the Easter long weekend. It’s the perfect time to slow down, recharge, and enjoy a little extra time with family, friends, or simply a moment to yourself. Read on for some important information and updates.

Easter Break Operating Hours

Over the easter break, we will be closed for general enquiries however, payrolls will be processed as usual on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

  • Easter Monday

NDIS & Plan Management Delays

We’d also like to make you aware that during this time of year, there may be delays in claims processing from the NDIS and some plan managers. These delays are outside of our control, but we will continue to submit claims promptly and keep everything moving as smoothly as possible.
Key Dates from NDIS
  • Planned system outages on Friday 3 April 6.30am AEDT to Saturday 4 April 3.30pm AEDT and Saturday 4 April 10.00pm AEDT to Sunday 5 April 6.30am AEDT
  • Based on previous Easter processing times requests submitted just before Easter → processed after the long weekend and during the long weekend → processed from mid-week after Easter

Upcoming Change :: Pay Day Super

From 1 July 2026, Pay Day Super will come into effect and is a change to how you calculate and when you pay your employees’ super guarantee. Super will be calculated on qualifying earnings (QE) instead of ordinary time earnings (OTE). Some allowances are qualified earnings and super will be payable eg. sleepover shift paid as an allowance or on-call allowances

  • Pay Day Super starts 1 July 2026
  • Super must be paid on payday
  • Super is calculated on qualifiying earnings - this is a new term
  • The old term was ordinary time earnings
  • Contributions should reach your employee's super fund within 7 business days of their pay day
